ICON launched our inaugural programme on ‘Converting Social Media Advocates & Communities’. Developed in consultation with the Ministry of Communications & Information (MCI) and the Civil Service College (CSC).
With 94% of people trusting earned advertising and peer recommendations, the potential for strengthening or erosion of brand equity is compounded through consumer and word-of-mouth advocacy on social media. This programme therefore aims to support organisations in building their brands, from the ‘bottom up’, covering concept planning to last mile delivery in advocacy campaigns.
This inaugural programme run in 2013 has kicked of with full subscription from 12 government organisations including the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and Housing & Development Board (HDB).
